Karen Firebaugh
Director Client Services , Web Master
Karen oversees day-to-day operations for numerous ongoing client transactions. She is responsible for the logistics of opening new accounts and also assists with client cash management matters. In addition, she is responsible for client management agreements, customized reporting, and maintaining individual client files. Karen is responsible for conducting in-house audits, and ensuring that client management agreements, billing reports, proxy voting, and audits of new client transitions are performed.
Experience: Prior to joining the staff at Jonathan Smith & Co., Karen established FireDreams Web Design, an enterprise that designs, develops, and maintains custom websites. The Jsco website is one of Karen’s designs, which she maintains as part of her function here at Jsco.
Education and Affiliations: Karen did her undergraduate course work at Hollins University. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a B.S. degree in Math with a concentration in Computer Science. She continued her education at Guilford Technical Community College in Internet Technologies. Karen serves on the Board of Directors of Mission Ukraine Children’s Hope and is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of America.
